Click 'Chat Now' on the advisor's profile. A chat window opens and a countdown timer appears in the top bar of the window showing '3:00.' This timer begins the moment the advisor accepts your session, not when you send your first message—so have your question ready to type immediately.

Type your question or a brief situation overview right away to make use of every second. Avoid opening pleasantries during the free window. A focused question like 'I need insight on whether my ex will contact me before May' gives the reader something concrete to work with from the first minute.

Watch the timer carefully. At approximately 0:15 remaining, decide whether you want to continue at the reader's standard per-minute rate or end the session. To end without being charged, click 'End Chat' before the timer reaches zero. The button is located in the top-right corner of the chat window.

If you end at zero or before, you owe nothing for that session. You can then open a session with a different advisor and receive another three free minutes. Repeat as needed to find the reader whose style resonates with you before committing to a paid session.

The three free minutes apply only to live chat sessions, not email readings or phone calls. Make sure you select the chat icon, not the phone or email icon, on the advisor's profile page.
Before starting your free session, open a notes document and write your question in advance. Copying and pasting it the moment chat connects eliminates the fumbling that eats your free minutes.
Advisors with very high per-minute rates (above $5/min) can be financially risky if you accidentally let the timer run past zero. Consider starting your sampling with mid-range advisors ($1.50–$3/min) so any accidental overage is manageable.
Kasamba does not cap how many different advisors you can sample with this offer. However, the free minutes are strictly first-contact only—returning to an advisor you've already chatted with, even briefly, activates full billing from the first second.
